  1. What if Twitch Added a tab within the game landing page itself? So instead of Seeing:

Live Channels | Videos | Clips

    You might see:

Live Retail Channels | Live Classic Channels | Videos | Clips

Then show them all by default on the World of Warcraft landing page but allow people to filter them and allow streamers to designate which they're playing.

  2. "You don't have to play the game that way"
Finally, someone who understands that this is a game – not a race.
Now you can make it a race if you want but great age has taught me that you might as well enjoy the story as you go.

  3. Classic should be seperate from Standard WoW in Twitch. When it could be played over this last weekend, I wanted to find Classic Streams, but it was extremely difficult and I stopped looking. I was basically looking at thumbnails asking (does this look like Classic?), because the title's in twitch don't start with 'CLASSIC Stream…' – they may have the word Classic in the title, but it's buried. I'm only watching Standard streams right now, because Classic isn't out yet.
I don't think many people watching will goto the list of WoW streams and pick a random stream that looks cool, maybe if they see a streamer that they know. If they're interested in classic, they are going to look for a classic stream, especially during the first few weeks after launch. They need to be seperate. They're not the same game. They're not the same audience. If you keep them together, it will hurt WoW's numbers overall in the future on twitch. I won't watch as much.

  4. Finally someone said.I been playing since 2005 and still active sub and im going to enjoy lvling my rogue just reading quest texts etc. There is no point of rushing this is only phase 1.Just enjoy the game ppl.

  5. Asmon is saying that you can't stream Classic because "you can only tell that story for a few hours a week" to the guy who literally made all of his success streaming Vanilla content before Classic was even announced, and then successfully streaming Classic content currently. It's interesting to hear Asmon's faith in the game kind of sway, and I think part of it may have to do with the fact that he's not going to be able to be the "chad", "alpha male" on his server in Classic that his fanbase expects from his streamer-persona. There's so many other streamers(and nons treamers!) that are objectively better at the game, just as entertaining as him, and will get more done because they don't try to build a fanbase of memelords. I think in a version of the game where community is king, Asmon will find that his community isn't as valuable as others. If this comes off as dickish, i'm genuinely not trying to be! I just think it's kind of obvious that Asmon's attitude towards a game often correlates with his desire to not simply enjoy the game, but to dominate it (to his standards) & his streaming success is led by his ability to fulfill the "alpha" personality that he's constructed.
