Unpopular opinion. I will be skipping this generation due to the uniform.
But if Nintendo releases a normal T-shirt +pants/skirt option then I'll buy the game that day. Heck I'll buy both copies.
Thanks Lee. I’m really hoping that a DLC will allow us to get rid of the uniforms. Even in post-game when I assume we graduate. I’m really loving this game, but this is one thing that I dislike a lot.
I thought I missed something, but damn the uniform thing is crazy lazy. Another huge minus for this game. So many downgrades compared to Sw/Sh.

Unpopular opinion but honestly think the clothing is not that big of a deal considering lots of countries in area restrict you to only wearing a uniform even Japan where Pokemon is made. Sure the people complaining may live in an area where uniforms are not required but in many places you'll get reprimanded for not wearing them. Although yes it probably would be a good idea to make it so the player doesn't have to wear uniforms after they graduate
At to think I was about to buy this game but to tell me I can’t make my character look super cute with out having to wear a school uniform is just💀💀 and I usually think preppy style is cute but not when I’m forced to wear it lol
How did we go from the customization from X and Y to being stuck i a school uniform for the whole game🤦🏼♂️
An almost 2023 game having no customisation is a fucking disgrace.
I agree with the shop views loading slow. In general there is a lot of lazy design in this game. I’m a bit disappointed with some of the quality after I saw Arceus.
Hope they listen to this feedback, Sword and Shield was okay for customization but I really liked X and Y, Sun & Moon clothing options
The no shirt/jumper and trousers options (or lack of) is really fecking annoying.

Does your school uniform look different depending on the version? Because my winter outfit on violet is black blazer with gray patterns on it, and long violet pants.

Of all the things about the game
The orange pants/shorts and not being able to change them is the single thing I hate the most. Nothing in the game comes even close

This is a huge downgrade from sword and shield. It doesn’t take that much to add shirts and pants.
They brought back the ability to give your character gloves and they gave you the ability to not wear a hat.
It's a shame Nintendo and Gamefreak had to ruin it by making you be stuck with those four stupid looking school uniforms for the entire game.
I hate the School Uniform Mechanic… for the next Game, I hope they let us wear whatever we want, lol.

I'm not impressed with the customization it should have been on the PSO ngs level all Street fighter 6 pokémon has been out for decade and the customization is still limited like this nobody type nail polish accessories etc ???
Thanks for the info probably over 60 hours of gameplay in Scarlett and at least 20 in violet and I only just now figured out how to do that thanks to you I appreciate that didn't know how to change outfits
It doesn't even make sense to go around the whole region wearing your uniform, you don't do that IRL.

Bruh we can't even get different Tees from the stores lol in LOA it had clean Ninja suits, SV character customization is weak
The fact that they made the dumb decision to decrease the amount of character customization and then have the audacity to make it part of the lore is beyond me. ALSO they have tops as an icon in the clothing shops, as to say there is a store that might sell tops…I spent the early parts of the game running around the map with a zero upgraded Koraidon thinking there was clothes somewhere. I mean I know it's a dumb thing to be upset about but I know theres a lot of players who loved customizing their trainer. As much as I didn't like SW/SH at least my trainer was appealing to look at while playing instead of being stuck in orange pants the WHOLE GAME!…
you cant change your skin colour so that sucks. im left with my character white as snow
They have the audacity to call their customisation good, when there is no clothing customisation what so ever. The NPC's look better than us, THE MAIN CHARACTERS, who LOOK LIKE NPC'S! Aye, I get heated but it's really terrible.
