octane is good i often main it but my only problem is that i can't hit aerials with it, i can hit nice powershots and dribble decently but i change cars if i want a game in the air

They should rename the game to be called octane league since that’s all anyone seems to be using
"Octane is the best car because all pro players use it", "the best car is the one you prefer". That's ridiculous man. You dont even analyse the differences between hitboxes in differents situations. For example the octane hitbox has better chances in 50's and dribble better than the dominus one. And in the octane hitbox category, it's the Road Hog that fit the best this hitbox, so techniquely, it's better for visualizing where the ball will hit.

Don't get me wrong, I love the octane! Heck it's probably the best car in the game!… But what's irritating is the fact that I'm just so much more comfortable with the dominus.

I also think that Octane is the best looking car in RL. Why? Because it looks like Supersonic acrobatic rocket powered battle car, not a Need for Speed car. If Psyonix would design more cars that have the "Rocket League wibe" to them the meta would be more diverse. Octane has the most Rocket League wibe to it than any other car. What they do is they try to emulate what Fortnite does by pushing outside car designs into the game where they don't belong stylistically. I think they should design their own cars and try to forge their own "Rocket League Car" identity.
