Why 90% Of Flicks Are USELESS

What's the process on a side flick? Like what do I do on the controller. Could someone help explain please so I can practice? I needs to learn it. Having trouble popping it up onto the car and when I do, I bounces off when trying to rotate it off of the car. How do I softly pop up and rotate properly?

You seem to confuse useful with necessary. All of those flicks are useful for two reasons one in it's variety. Different flicks have different characteristics and motions which means it makes it harder as a defender to know what to do for each shot. Second it is incredibly useful in being unpredictable. Having multiple flicks in your arsenal helps you be able to fool the defense. And remember at lower ranks or even in diamond and champ you get these moments where you have the ball for a dribble and have no idea what to do with it other than a normal flick but you know that normal flick will get saved so you want to do something else but end up just giving the ball away trying for an air dribble. Having these kind of flicks in your arsenal helps you incredibly for those scenarios as well

U use front flip flicks in ranked a lot to, because they are easy to get a small simple pop when needed
