OMG, Ben, I had a friend do the every other year thing from third grade through high school. We only became consistent friends in college (she's one of my best friends now… I was in her wedding 😁)
Salutations Jordan, DK, Jay and Ben. My question is" If you all made a solo youtube channel to showcase hidden talents or passions, what would your channel feature?" Such as food, cars, art, books, ect.
Hey dorden!!! I have an idea for a book but I'm only 12 and dont enjoy writing very much. My mom has thought of writing a book but wants to write one she's more interested in. Also It would be about young adults and I'm obviously not there yet. I have a 12 grade reading level as a 6 grader so I'm kinda smarter than 97% of 6th graders (statistically that's actually true). Thanks for any advice! If you're interested in my idea here it is. It would be about element benders and side element benders (side elements are like water and ice, fire and lava, air and light/electricity, and earth and maybe stone or sand but if you have a better idea feel free to share)
if someone says no offence when they are being horrible, I just straight out say "you know that saying "no offence" after something doesn't stop it being offensive, right?"
Do you pre-plan the fake names you use to refer to people in your personal lives? Because J was talking about someone he knew and referred to them as Chad, and Ben knew exactly who he was talking about, but Jordan said/asked it wasnt his real name. So was it his real name, was this pre-planed between J and Ben to refer to this guy as "Chad", did Ben just know the story J was gonna tell, or was Ben Pretending to know who J was referring to?
For the first question: Mention that just saying "No offense" doesn't mean what was said is not offensive. It's well in your right to say that does offend me. If you say "None taken" then what ever the "friend" has said is okay with you, but maybe not others. It would be important to let the "friend" know this.
Don't be afraid of losing friends. Friends can be made, and you will not get along with everybody.
For the second question……umm, where was the second question.
i can totally relate with sarah. I have a "friend" right now who used to be cool, but now all of our friends agree he's kind of gotten weird bc he'll text us weird stuff all the time, and will make "jokes" that really aren't funny, and its clear he's looking for attention and he's just different than before. We can't really kick him out of our friend group bc at one point we were all real friends with him and to kick him out now is just awkward. ironically, im super passive aggressive with him LOL
wassup scb crew! I have many things right now that I want to pursue, such as making music, writing a story, and writing a script for a short film, and finally watching the office (which may sound unimportant i know but like ive heard so many things about it and i really just want to watch it). this is all on top of being involved in the international baccalaureate program. Because I'm so busy already, I don't get the opportunity to pursue any of these and as a result i feel incredibly unproductive even though what im not getting done isn't necessarily the things that i NEED to get done. How can i feel less unproductive, and which one should I prioritize?
I have recently decided to start a YouTube channel! But whenever I sit down to record I become incredibly camera shy. Causing me to scrap the entire recording session. Do you have any advice on how to be less camera shy or just being less judgmental on my own work?
Hey brothers, DK and Jordan. I just wanted to mention that some people are "socially awkward" or on the autism spectrum and their social skills are just on a level that communicating is hard. I'm one of those people and in some occasions things I say are very harsh and not at all what i wanted to say. Sometimes I try to glue the situation with a "no offence" or "i didn't mean it like that", but then the words have already been spoken. So I found this video kinda hurtful, because I really try to be better and cannot always help it..
You are my heroes. I am 11years old and almost 12. I was born on December 1 and have been waiting for this movie for a long time. But I can't watch it with you. I mean FB2
Hey brothers, DK and Jordan, I’ve always hated the sound and sight of breaking glass or crockery. When I was little I used to get upset immediately. Nowadays unless I broke it I’m usually totally fine at first (about five minutes) but then I’m borderline traumatised for the next 48 hours. What can I do. Adults are only supposed to get this upset at funerals.
Hey Jordan, Ben, J, and DK, I really enjoy singing, and I'm in my school choir, but I don't have a lot of confidence. I'm fine when I'm with people who I know won't care if I'm terrible, and I sing just randomly all the time, but when I'm in choir I always feel like everyone's judging me. I guess it's because they're all really good singers (way better than me) and just as a group they're kinda judgy and of course they can tell when I'm doing something wrong, so as a result I get really timid, and I've actually noticed that it negatively affects my ability to sing in general, because stress and nerves can mess with my voice. This is turning something I enjoy into something really stressful, and I haven't auditioned for any solos for the same reason. So I guess what I'm asking is how do I get more confident at singing around people who are better than me?
I'm 30 and maybe 4 or 5 years ago I had a fallout with a friend over her belief that I was not legally blind. She looked up the definition of legally blind to prove her point that I didn't fit within the definition. It wasn't the only thing I had an issue with her, but that most certainly broke me down because she didn't believe me. Why have a friend who doesn't believe who you are and doesn't accept it? And also sends you the reason why she doesn't believe you? That was muy last straw with her as it's probably something that you can't come back from. Meanwhile, I have another friend who has more of a visible disability and this other friend who didn't believe my almost non visible disability are friends to this day. I feel bad for the friend stuck in the middle between us as she had nothing to do with our fallout and is trying her best to stay out of it. Has anyone else had this similar of a situation? A friend who believes one person's disability or basically "who we are and how we were born" over another's just because one is more visible than the other and looked up the definition of your disability to prove her point? I don't know which is worse at this stage. The fact that she flat out didn't believe me or looked up the definition to support her reasoning. Thanks for spending the time to read this and maybe I'll get some responses. I do realize that there isn't more rocket league at the time of this comment.
Theres this one kid in my class who is a bully. Whenever he bullies my classmates best friends, theyll stand up for their friend. Whenever he bullies me and i stand up for myself, my classmates stand up for the the bully as if im the one bullying him when im obvisously not. what should i do? (Ex: bully kicks me really hard in class, my classmates are watching underneath the table, I tell bully to stop kicking me, my classmates tell me to stop king the bully.)

Hey Derek – why didn‘t you call this episode „NO OFFENCE“? Feels like a missed opportunity! 😂
Edit: You even talked about it! 😥

Y’all did very poorly in this episode
No Offense

Before breaking contact with someone, I would definitely tell them why and give them a chance to change.

My Dad’s name is chad is the best
I think I just try to be nice to frenemies.
maybe if you try turning the ball cam off it will be alot easier to boom someone or at least for me i switch the cams alot
When I’ve got a frenemy I tend to assume it’s my fault.

Try using forward dodges when you're out of boost.
17:43 no it's pants on fire ( just kidding)!

Lol J and the Mean Girls references 🤣🤣🤣
You should say
"Your a cancer to my self-esteem… haha no offense"
