I had been saving for a few things, one of them was training from you. In an instant everything changed and I felt mad and sad. What your saying about not getting ssl is logically correct, as it would be to say playing rocket league at all is a "WASTE OF TIME" since it doesn't improve your real life in any way besides maybe using it as a stress release hobby but there are other more productive rewarding hobbies you could choose like carpentry, or anything that you could create something tangible for yourself, but maybe you should think about getting ssl as a way to challenge yourself to prove that you can complete that goal instead of giving yourself a justification to stop short when you're so close. Your points are very valid and logical but from an accountability standpoint regardless of how impactful the goal will have on your life maybe you should consider doing it as a to finish what you started instead of giving up. It's a breakup. You put in so much effort and time and passion into one relationship, that it almost feels impossible that you could ever have something as good or better than the relationship you had. BUT, even though it sounds cliche, life goes on. The fact that you are this successful in something as silly as a rocket car game, i have no doubt that you can carry that on to something even more incredible. Competitive is putting yourself in the hamster wheel. After you peak it will push u way back down and its not worth your time to get it back period. Do not voluntarily put yourself in the hamster wheel. Do not fall for it. Play casual. Rank is temporary period. Tournament titles are forever tho 😂

tbh i dont really play rocket league for the rank i just play for fun, the only real reason i want to get better is so that i can have better shots and aerials
