From there it is easy to see how much the goalie game in general has progressed in 10-15 years. Goalies are even bigger and don`t commit themselves too early nowadays. At the same time, players shot accuracy/velocity and the pace of the game have increased, the eternal chase goes on…

Part of the reason I can't get into hockey: Even in that last goal where they put it in slow motion, I then had to go to youtube settings and slow it down to 0.25 to see what happened. Everything is so damn fast. And why for awhile they were doing that superpuck thing where it was highlighted and then had a red trail when it was shot. There's not as many fights these days either. Just seems boring and way to quick for me. To each their own. (and I'm from Michigan, basically all of my friends are huge Wings fans).
