literally zero information lol
Hey look, you’re a sound guy. This video was a little weird but cool. I’ll go give it a heart, aheh.
The intro is so good
Imagine having to train to reach top 1%
It would be cool for you to do a list of the compound mechanics just to know what kinds there are because being at a lower level it’s hard to know what kinds there are!
Yesterday I just hit GC for the first time and then lost it and went all the way back to c3 div 1 so now I'm looking for training to get back to GC, as I feel I didn't do as well as I should have, therefore deranking. I did rank up at day and derank at night.
hey luke this video was weird but cool
Great video Luke!
I can vouch for your compound lift analogy. As a somewhat powerlifter it’s imperative to master the basics to provide yourself with the strongest possible foundation.
Ultimately, pulling an air dribble out your ass when you’re 3-0 down means nothing if you can’t shadow defend.
What I’d like to challenge though is your point about not playing late at night or “on your last brain cell” as you won’t see improvement. At what point does RL become a chore? Sometimes I simply want to spend a late evening grinding ranked because Im simply enjoying it. In my opinion if you become too regimented with “routine” you can really suck the enjoyment out of something and perhaps lose your interest long term.
Bookmarking this. I know I'm gonna need to rewatch this video every so often, great information
how did u manage to get that cross in the center of your screen like at 5:28?
lol i play way better at night rather than day
Ok but if I wanna play rocket league for the sake of just playing then I’m gonna do it whenever I can, including 4 am
Who else just trains all day on air roll
whats the map for the the air dribble training thing with the hoops?
What training packs should we use if we're on console?
appreciate the hard work, sir. thank you.
Would a sound guy tell people to call him a sound guy? Sus
Great vid bro
Can you coach me
Good vid 👍
I love to train more then actually play the game hahahahh
What’s with the crosshairs? Lol.
really informative, i might even implement these tips when learning things outside of rocket league, i agree with pretty much everything and i can actually make improving myself a lot more efficient
As a lifter I very much appreciated the reference to compound lifts, put it in perspective for me
I know this sounds weird, but when I actually start understanding the game better, I might get into those coaching sessions! even though I've put over 200 hours in the game, it was never at the competitive level (still don't think I will), but I just know been wanting to hit that "next level" with RL cus it's a game I fell in love since like, idk, 2016 or 2015 lol! Thanks as always Luke you rock <3
You’re a sound guy. Lol
This man brought up weightlifting as an analogy pure genius like him even more now
I always felt like this in school: quantity will hurt my gains. My grades were good except in the classes that my effort was literally 0, wich led to some occasions where I would have to speedrun everything in few days. The result was mid peformance and forgoting what I just learned after the tests. For gaming I never really trained before so I only used the mass aproach since I usually play a lot, but I always get to this strange state where I get really good then my peformance goes downhill. Usually I take long breaks when this happen and I get even better on return. Since I want to improve fast in RL to play with some better friends, I will apply your method.
