I feel like this concept with easier to jump over "ropes" would make for a more hype game than you'd think. Present someone with a task that anyone can do and eventually they'll make a mistake because they get cocky.
You could add an eye-of-the-storm wall to push people to the center but still leaving space to bump. It needs to intensify as the round goes on.
