I somewhat disagree. I totally get what your saying about playing ones when you first start playing the game. But honestly it can be just as benefitional. It forces you to get good and learn to be aware. You have to play offense as well as defense. Which can potentially be off-putting but in a 1v1 of bronze or silver the outcome can be completely luck based with all the whiffs. And you're still getting in game practice. I started playing rocket league a year and a half ago and started with grinding ones. It was so fun until skill became the main factor. Lol. Anyways I'm C1 now and I believe my grinding of 1s early on played a main factor in learning the game quickly.

Bakkes mod seems way more important than ones. And if 1s players leads 3s then this game might not be peak

You are really wrong here my friend. Ones is good at low ranks especially because there’s no one to fix your mistakes so you get punished. And you make more mistakes as a low rank. So you learn faster.
