  1. Can we please just take a moment to appreciate the amount of effor this guy puts into his videos. They are so high quality and the graphics are actually pretty cool. Thing is, people don't know how long that actually takes, and he needs to be appreciated more. keep up the good content Luke

  2. Fact is, controllers are not designed well enough.

Can anybody build a controller where there is a joystick on the backside? So we can move the camera without loosing the use of our thumb.
Maybe a flat one like on PSP or DS for an easier use?

  3. But more information true, having more information can be overwhelming and lead to decision paralysis. it's important to find a balance and prioritize what's essential.

  4. Very true, when I was struggling to breach champ a few seasons ago i started looking around simply for teammates who may be on the ball faster or have better angle before I'd blindly commit and that alone helped so much to lower double commits and make saves and shots, easily helped breach into champ and almost C2 at the time, but more important than the rank it really creates a much better team playing experience

  5. a lot of people still suck bcuz they have terrible camera settings and deadzone settings that make them whiff way too often and miss the ball settings are super important in RL find the settings ur most comfortable with to have full control of your car doesnt matter how much game sense u have ur settings needs to be good in order for you to play good and see around the field and be able to react to things having control mainly focuses on your deadzones and stiffness and swivel speed dont copy the pros ur not that guy find the sensitivities ur comfortable with thats not to fast and not to slow also use paddles playing rocket league otherwise dont even bother without them u have such a disadvantage against other controller players unless ur on KBM but even that is insane for rl lol

  6. Hey luke, i dont know if its just on me but i dont think it is but everytime you talk your microphone has a very high pitched noise emitted, ive not had it with any other videos and only when you spoke during this video so maybe look into that, great video btw

  7. Crazy that you released this video talking about something no one really talks about… I was literally just recently watching a Retals video, and it clicked for me during the video how much he uses his right stick to know exactly where other players are, so he can make a decision about where to land/how he should recover, for example.
Granted, it was a 6 mans video so there were comms, but it just clicked for me how useful that is. It’s easy to forget to turn off ball cam in more situations than just going for boost or trying to catch and dribble.
As you said, this does come with more play time and experience as you are more able to read what the ball is going to do earlier, but it is extremely helpful to start consciously thinking about it.
    W vid

  8. I am not a big spookluke fan and find a lot of his tips not helpful unless you have speed, control and pretty good mechanics. But this is a good video. I remember Comm saying his always watching players and the ball is in his peripheral vision until he needs to shoot or save it.

  9. just watched half of the video but yeah, this is something extremely necessary, i learned it because i couldnt figure out how i got in situations where i couldnt hit the ball like i wanted for the case, so i fixed my positioning, then my ball reads, and then combined that with getting used to how opponents usually hit the ball, and this is all you need to start having vision, but what i want to point out is that this probably the most important thing to learn in the game, cause it makes build better ball and car control, and game sense as well, and even mechanichs just by understanding that vision-decision based gameplay, and as spook says there are tons of players that are not able to improve just because of this, so thanks for bringing this up

  10. This is a pretty bad video sorry to say. The video playing gives almost no information related to the topic. It's more like a podcast but definitely not a educational one.
I like it better when you showcase the situation better with drawings, related replays or freeplay etc. In this video, I'd have liked to see good and bad vision moments and how to avoid them in more specific way rather than using a vague language and background video. I find your videos entertaining nonetheless. Thanks!
