me watching this having only played budokai 2 and onward did not think this was a budokai game xD it acts like a tenkaichi game in cut scenes, but is def a budokai game in the fighting lol

For the confused this is Budokai not the predecessor to Tenkaichi cause Tenkaichi isn't actually called that originally its called Sparking but just got a name change outside of Japan so they decided on completing the name and adding Tenkaichi cause they meant for it to improve and achieve what Budokai couldn't and still remains as one of the best fighter games

I have fond memories of this on GameCube. I think it was my first exposure to DBZ, a couple years after Dragon Ball Advanced Adventure introduced me to the franchise.
There actually a couple of extra missions if you back to story after you finish the game some of them are very fun
