weird how you didnt even talk about swapping your movement binds to esdf instead of wasd as esdf binds open up more keybinds
great video. with a keyboard i find that moving and pressing my abilities just isnt as quick as when i have a gamepad. also i struggle finding my way back to my movement keys after i use a keybind thats a bit out of reach. ive been playing with a gamepad for years now. is this something i should get away from using? if so how can i improve on using a traditional keyboard and mouse?

this guide is looking solid, i just have a question about targeting, i don't use Arena123 keybinds at all, rather i use Tab Binder which makes that you only tab arenaframes and i manually click totems/psyfiend, is this a healthy targeting solution? or is it too slow? what do you think

I moved my movement to E-S-F it opens up another 4 keys and makes a few more easier to reach.

unbind backpaddling as its useless and tada you got 1 extra keybind that u can assign shift and alt and ctrl to making it 4 extra keybinds that is an easy accessable one
personally i use ASD to ''strafe left'' , ''walk forward'' , ''strafe right'' with.
what about modifier spacebar bind?
I just use a gamepad. Makes the game a WHOLE lot easier
Guys, I think you and most of the players making mistake in the first step. Moving with wasd, instead of esdf and have a more comfortable moving and geting more bind keys
On big rule for me is not out big cds on buttons with modifiers I spam. Otherwise I fat finger it too much
I use alt+keybind ( since vanilla wow) to use power ups or long cooldowns abilities but there is a high risk you press alt tab (or the dammed windows button), i been playing this game for 15yrs still make that mistake, i started to change to shift+keybind is alot better but my muscle memory still press alt
For me, I have kick on E as its a fast keybind but more importantly if you are a multiclasser, i keep the same keybind for all classes so your muscle memory is easy to switch between characters.
Also, if you play a pet class i find it incredibly useful to have the mouse scroll for pet attack (scroll up), pet stay (click) and pet follow (scroll down)
I don't like jumping as much as it really telegraphs where you're going. Instead my most used binds are on f, g, z, x, c and b with modifiers shift and ctrl (z and x are really great binds). I can reach all of these with just my thumb so my index and ring fingers are left for movement. I do use q and e for interrupts though and 1 through 5 with modifiers for cooldowns.
Typical bad players who think they are good completely ignoring the F# keys.
why wouldnt u hot key shift and alt ….. qerfcz Shift qerfcz Alt qerfcz this gives you the same keys over and over again and they arenot hard to press pink can easily go between shift and alt.
Just assign [shift] to your mouse thumb botton and put 4-6 spells on mousewheel forward and mousewheel backward
for me Z + X are A tier i have my thumb reserve for those key and also alt and space
i group by cooldown lower cooldown spells go to S tier keybinds

It took me years to perfect my key binds. Arguably the most important part of the game overall.
I just wish theres an addon saying do this quest and get the shoulders. Or do this dungon get this axe. Or do this rep to unlock the necklace or trinket.
I don't know how I just stumbled on this. I've been playing off and on since Wrath as a keyboard turner apparently. Never met anyone who's told me how to move my character in the game and I've always done really well in pve content. I'm someone who's always played this game solo. Everything feels so foreign now that it's a bit intimidating to even try.
Middle mouse scroll button feels like garbage to press for targeting as a healer. Targeting binds with modifiers on the keyboard under movement keys feel way better, more responsive and faster.
so my mouse strafing isnt better than "Q&E" lmao
