  1. Yeah I play back all the time cause they NEVER go back and the moment I think I can push they whip around and steal the ball. Its hard shadow defending when I'm CONSTANTLY in a 2v1. Then my teammate will flame me for a low score board when I can't even touch the ball

  2. my experience in diamond/champ is that no one uses car cam at all. Not when recovering, not ever. Probably only when they dribble.

So yeah assume ur m8 is dumb and that he will always cut, always go ball not rotation, always just pays attention to the ball. When I dont, I cry in double commit.

  3. it’s all about adaptation to your tm8s. Sometimes I get people who challenge like this and sometimes I get people who play close to keep pressure, but ultimately fake and make it back in time to save it. Rocket league is one of the hardest games to coach for this fact alone it’s like a game of chess every game is similar but not the same, so really the only thing that helps is repetition and experience. But I commend you for trying to help the plays 😂

  4. I’m in champ 3 & I’m aware of this so I sit back but then my teammates ALWAYS think that I’m an extremely passive player so they just keep circling back to the ball & what happens is they ultimately run out of boost so they start flipping away from the ball leaving me in a 1v2 with a useless teammate, then I get beat with some kinda simple passing play. Then the tm8s spam “go for it!” 😂

  5. I’ve talked about this exact situation with my friend over and over again cause he just shadows all the way to the corner then maybe might do something but most the time doesn’t then it’s getting really close to the net and I now have to push and he commits with me and it ends in a double. Most the time I do get my hit but if it goes over me it’s a free goal on our goal. Annoys me every time

  6. People only play like this in competitive. In casual I'm like the only person I see who actually passes, centers, rotates, and doesn't just hit the ball for the sake of hitting it. I don't have the time to practice doing insane/ridiculous air dribbles. But it'd be nice to actually get unselfish players.

  7. Good rule of thumb is if you see your teammate start flipping back they've committed to a direction so it's a good sign you can start to push up. That doesn't mean they will be back to make a save but they've at least begun their rotation back. Opposite side of it, if you are rotating back a single flip back is a good way to signal your teammates you are rotating and resetting cuz you can't make an effective play from your position.

  8. Spook I’ve gotten so much better just by watching your videos and implementing them into my gameplay I just want to say thank you for everything you’ve taught me and ❤I’ve started a new channel on YouTube so I would truly appreciate it if you could help me out and subscribe to me❤
