  1. Only way Nintendo releases a new system inside a year of TOTK is if it does not need to be re-purchased for it.

As for announcement.. The last Zelda that launched as close as a year to new hardware that wasn't released on both systems was Skyward Sword. It released Nov 2011 and Wii U Nov 2012. But the Wii U was announced March 2011, so before the Zelda game released.

Still, I just highly doubt that they would release a new Switch less than a year from a mainline Zelda. Only way I could see them doing that is if TOTK purchased on Switch would run on Switch 2, enhanced, and not require a new purchase specifically for Switch 2.

  2. Future Redeemed isn't that long of an expansion so it was perfect drop 2 weeks before Tears. Anyone else dragging their feet isn't a xeno fan no offense. Also, they never alluded to summer release window.

  3. 32:24 On Sunbro's point of a ''review ceiling'' happening because Tears did not ''re-invent the wheel'' – maybe,, but there are 2 massive mitigating reasonings to that. 1) the Mario Galaxy 2 effect, where it tied with the original game both scoring a 97. Increased Quantity of the Quality content we know & love dialled up always scores brownie points. 2) Sunbro's own (and kinda contradictory) point that TOTK Objectively is the better game, delivering a '3 tiered gaming floor' seamlessly in an Open World.

  4. For every reviewer that has negative comments after playing for a little while, there is a group like this that has already called it the best open world game of all time pre release. For every 90 there will be a 100.
