49 Gedanken zu „Stop Using The OCTANE… FENNEC Vs. OCTANE In 2023“
Fennec I love your videos I am currently a plat trying to get to diamond and champ I also see how much work you put into these videos so round of applause
I feel like the shape of the octane's nose can sometimes help me visualize my point of impact on the ball more easily for power shots but overall I like the fennec more
Visual effect is very important, I find Fennec more acurate on that than the Octane,is. Eventho I have 1.3k hour on Octane, I think I prefer Fennec now
I can confirm it with the switching… Sometimes i'll try to learn a mechanic and it just wont work on the fennec, so I switch to the octane, learn it there, and when I switch back I can now do it witj both cars… Octane also feels more nimble and fast at times, so I like to use it to just change playstyle ever so slightly
The hitboxes certainly don't act like boxes while dribbling. I'm curious about how Psy made that work. Also, I swap between the Octane, Fennec, Jager and Diestro all the time. I'd have some insight if I didn't whiff so damn much.
I've been maining fennec since about 3k hours, but I always love going back to the octane for a bit here and there. I always thought of it as kind of a honeymoon phase because it would wear off over time, but now that you talked about the "subtle variation effect", it makes a lot more sense. I will often slightly tweak my camera and other settings if I feel in a rut for a bit (I heard GarrettG mention one time that it can make things feel fresh lol)
I played with octane from when I started I swapped to fennec and massive difference in my performance kinda funny but I just feel so more confident with it.
I think you have misinterpreted the subtle variation effect. The study was on a mechanical change and you are only suggesting a visual change. While I understand why you might think this would be related, the important factor was that the feel was changed by the settings being changed, i.e. a physical difference in how you execute the action.

Hybrid hitbox is the best
I would use the fennec if I had the payment method to buy it
Hasn't this been know for like….ever?

I want the fennec so bad. Sometimes i think the game is taunting me by giving me OTHER import cars instead of the FENNEC. I HATE YOU GAME.
I've always wanted a fennec but I'm just not able to get it
I think this makes the game Pay to win (somewhat)
too bad fennec ain't free :c

Soon rocket league players will bring astrology into their placebo. Istg this is the most superstitious community ever lmao
Ain't got no money for the Fennec, my dude. 😔😔😔😔
Dude doesn't even reply to messages on Discord, wouldn't recommend spending money to have him coach you.
I use both
Nah I'll just keep maining scarab
I just play nomad and I am happy

I played with octane from when I started I swapped to fennec and massive difference in my performance kinda funny but I just feel so more confident with it.

So what you're saying is I should stop using the Dominus?
we need a car that is just the shape of the hitbox block with wheels.
Me in a dingo laughing to myself
took him a while
Fennec
I do not have fennec lol
me when i use dominus
What is your decal? It is sick
Fennec
I prefer the Octane myself.
I find the Fennec feels too "bouncy" and "loose", where the Octane feels much tighter.
