I mean if you play the game enough and understand physics you can pretty much control where the ball goes if you can read everything fast enough. No matter what flip you use to hit it… Timing and reads.

I just usually see which way my teammate is going and make sure the ball goes that way, no clue how I do it but unless I fuck the speed flip up (happens too often), it usually goes the correct side 😂
One of my favorite kickoffs for 1v1 (when straight on from goal) is to single jump and lean the nose towards the ground, then after connecting flip forward and it tends to be a goal 😂

Nice tutorial but doesnt help when even in GC1 your mates dont even flip on the kickoff and lose it by miles..

I'm champ and I don't even flip in kick offs yet I win most of my kick offs

its not really a barrel roll its called a speed flip
Well I think that just doing some kind of random sideflip before collapsing in to the ball is the ultimate way of doing kickoffs. It's just rng how it goes after that. All this "science" is just false information. Believe me, I've been playing RL for 6 years and I'm already C2 on 3s.
Lol I'm Champ 1 and I still just flip at the ball. I keep telling myself I should learn a better kickoff, but have yet to do it.
I wish my car wouldn't just not flip sometimes despite me holding the stick in a direction on kickoffs. Nothing more frustrating than just double jumping over the ball. I'm honestly convinced it has something to do with the inputs and latency.
jokes on you, I've always been barrel rolling on kick offs for no reason. Now I have an actual reason to barrel roll

I've been doing this for 2 years now. I've never cared to learn how to "speed flip" on kickoffs because I already win 80%
or more of my kickoffs using this technique. I sometimes will play against friends that are in Grand Champion and even
they fail to beat me on kickoffs MOST of the time.
This is good for solos, but for teams, I never do a fast kick-off and win 90% of them. Goes right to my teammate. Fast kick-offs are also really easy to counter.
I boost – front flip – boost works great every time
I'm only c1 in 3s but I do wavedash kickoffs and I'd say more than 75% of the time I'm able to control where the ball goes purely on watching the direction of the opponent. Knowing your 50's is crucial for kickoffs.

Every1 in gc wanna show off their speedkickoff skills and do it 100% of the time, so i 100% of the time delay kickoff and wins almost all of them lmao.

When I see someone speed flipping to the ball, I just blow all my boost in a straight line. You always win the deflection
