So you telling me i cant do resets without directional airroll Why im landing them with normal airroll then? Haha tnx for the tips anyways but i dont think u need to use directionall
My issue was holding gas down while going for flip reset pushing me down to the ground, two ways I have mitigated this letting go of gas or hitting power slide as I am hitting the ball.
This videos actually makes me want to learn flip resets even though I feel like I dont need them yet at all (C1) and still have more important things to train first but that looks fun!
I knew the first one through watching Tenacity, but the second tip is golden for me, suddenly it clicked. For the third one, if you're really good with freeroll it's almost the same as directional, but it's true that resets are easier with directional, they happen almost effortlessly.
Just come across your channel and your videos already sound really insightful. Had a 3 year break from playing rocket league so have a lot of learning to catch up with!
ok. this video is literally aimed at me lol. i was in his discord learning to reset yesterday and told someone i didn't use air roll, after he watched a bit, he told me the same things in this video. yhahah luke was lurking in vc or something lol.
Man as someone who doesn't use mech but more a Flakes approach, it's getting so annoying seeing people trying mech stuff and failing over and over. While not even mastering the basics (rotate backpost, don't cut don't chase, if I wait to bait his touch don't spam take the shot, don't bump me to save) but sure it's my fault we lose not because he tries dumb stuff he can't do and hit the ball away all the time.
Tho RL community is way to toxic and way to many god complex people atm..
EXTRA TIP: If you find yourself constantly far away from the ball after hitting it, MAKE SURE you are not driving in the air. Driving while hitting a flip reset will send your car away from the ball.
Bonus tip: if you reverse/ break while getting your reset, you can actually stay closer to the ball after the reset.
Why these are not included in the video? I have no idea these help so much.
bro just taught me how to flip reset instead of the mistakes i should stop doing
This is the most useless tutorial in the history of rocket league!. (Just kidding, I'm just bad at the game)
I’m new to discord and I’m trying to get trained by you I do not understand how to join your discord

Dude you literally said boost through the ball in your last flip reset tutorial. No wonder I suck I've been boosting too much. Lol

OHHH fly THROUGH the ball
I always air rolled and waited for the fall to ball
Me watching this even though I can’t fly
can I get coached I know I am mechanical in free play but not really in ranked and I need to break that habit of traning
Man Rocket League really went into space when flip resets became doable consistently
Okay, I realized some videos have been getting hyped about the editing but now I would tone it down a notch. More isn't always better.
Yoo i never realised boosting through the flipreset is actually not good, thats a huge tip for me! love to see it!
