QotD: Not exactly a company but has alot of child companies (Peta calls them I think PETA Business Friends if I ever see that little sticker fuck that noise) attached to them but Green Peace and PETA are two companies I will never ever buy products from. Nor have they actually done me harm but the harm they do in general is what I am focusing on lol. They are the worst of the psuedo environmentalist/ecology groups which just use lies to get their way. I should admit Green Peace is slightly better atleast the misteps they make they try to own up to (Ish they do bury alot of their own misdoings but it definitely less apparent) but PETA is the absolute worst and I include it as companies rather than charities because the people who work for PETA end up making insane salaries by exploiting naive people. Like the main reason why I dislike them is because I did some research on the long term effects of their guerilla acts like setting free Minks in a Mink farm, instead of you know trying to rehome them in their native habitat they just set them free out the doors of the facility amoung the ones which werent killed by predators because remember these are domesticated Minks were killed by cars because they though the cars were bringing them food. And the ones which survived being killed by predators and cars got eaten by another Mink because they are canabilistic by nature I forget the exact way it works but I think any Mink which is not in the immediate pheromone group they can see as a potential meal. Which after that failure of an expedition they just used the information they gained by saying MINKS are eating each other AT the Mink farms (which some less reputable ones yea but the majority no because that is just silly to let your money eat each other). Or their protest of shrimp farming in India by destroying a farmers newly built pond (Shrimp farming is a big issue because they are so close to other arable land but since shrimp require salt water to grow you are essentially salting the ground and making it not suitable for farming) and flooding the surrounding fields with the salt water AND NOT PAYING for damages they essentially made already poor farmers (I am talking about the ones who owned the neighbhouring fields) homeless and thought they did a good thing. Like I came through so many different stories like that where they do a poorly thought out plan and just bail and say they had the high ground because LOOK OVER THERE.
