S02E03 – MAME HyperMarquee How does it work? Plus Shoutouts and Youtube Kickouts!

I will some day hopefully make a video of my arcade and gaming stuff since it's starting to be a lot. Not a complete arcade hall like yourself but getting that many machines in Sweden ain't easy or cheap.

Now for the more important channel called SpaciesArcade… I like your new intro, I like you kept the Theatre of Magic music from the old one. Also your new logo has grown on me. Did you make your intro and logo yourself? Great skills.

For your files changing in hyper marquee, have you tried write protect the files?

I seen all your videos but never realised your mame build has a fridge storing beer. Perfect, beer and arcade works great together, I will copy this idea for my next build. I use a second screen on my PC MAME-machine to see the Shmup, Donkey Kong and Burger Time high scores, it's great to have them easily seen.

Can you use hyper marquee with other front ends or does it need to run through hyperspin? I was thinking of trying to use it on a raspberry pi if possible

Awesome work on the marquees. I planned on doing the digital marquee with my new build but never considered the flyer marquee. It’s brilliant. Keep up the awesome work.

Man I hope when you have time for it to make a nice tutorial to how to setup hypermarquee and EDS for noobs like me, I tried some tutorials, but no luck……

Hello, I’m wondering you later hypermarquee Windows is there a way to not have the blackish overlay?

For example if I create a high to text window and stretch it over my banner art marquee window, everything will be darker because of high to text so my solution was to make the window for high score smaller and fit it under the artwork window. Is that what you did?

Does hypermarquee fill in the left and right sides of a widscreen tv with (vertical) artwork, or is that a different program?

Hello. Did your LCD have the display module with it?

I am looking at purchasing the
43‘’（VLT490-SBLD-FHD-199-AND) Stretched Bar LCD Display and they are telling me this:

for arcade machine you can check our module 28'' not 43'' panel, you only need the module, without the outside metal case, we will send with drive board with DHMI input.
Cutting panel means some part of the panel cutted cannot see it, can only see part of the panel, so when you make the contents have to be accordingly.

But I see no reason why this model shouldn't work as-is. Any help would be appreciated.
