  1. -To start learning directional air roll I bound it to L2. It's because I didn't wanna use R1, and I wanted to keep common air roll on L1. The comfortable thing about L2 is that my left index has that "air roll muscle memory", and I didn't need to change how I hold my controller. The only alternative I could think of (apart from moving boost to R1, which I would do if I were to start again), is to bind it to square (or in my case, circle, because I have boost on square), like Squishy. It's uncomfortable because you have to press circle, X, and square at the same time, but it's doable.

The main disadvantage I found of L2 is that using the same finger for normal air roll and directional air roll can be confusing at times, kinda like when you practice flying backwards and then you screw up normal flying, sometimes when I use too much L2 I struggle to use L1. the second minor disadvantage is that you can't hold L2 while half-flipping, which was a common thing for me, but on the upside, I can use the new bind to do the half-flip easier.

  2. One thing about the settings, if you want to be able to hold powerslide without flipping over you can just hold both air roll right and left or hold the air roll button along with powerslide even if it is in a different place, hopefully that makes sense
