  1. The PS4 controller has a very weak USB input and the slightest of movement will disconnect the controller. I've had two PS4 controllers within 12 months and they've both failed on me

  2. I started to try the ps4 controller again. I mained it for years until I switched to xbox controllers, and sadly, I love the ps4 controller so much more, but the ps4 controller buttons and triggers feel so much cheaper! Idk if it placebo but that's how it feels now

  3. I played on ps4 for months and used my xbox controller for months after and played much worse with the xbox controller. It feels like it has tension on the buttons and joysticks. Didnt feel responsive so I smashed it with a hammer.

  4. I would like to see a ratio between different controllers used by Pros. I think that would definitely show people that choosing one instead of another controller would not give superpowers 🙂 because many pro players use xbox controller even tho they are better "for comfort" instead of performance.

  5. I want to get a wired controller but have no idea if they have a low enough latency or build quality that competes with an official DS4, I'm sick and tired of buying controller after controller after controller since 2015 because the piece of shit micro usb socket always wears out no matter what! Every. single. time. Even if you keep the cable inside it and never take it out to rub against the metal pins, it still gets worn just from your general movement. Those micro usb ports are terrible and they never last no matter how well you treat your controller.

A Nacon controller is half the price of a regular DS4, is officially licensed by sony and is wired. Is the natural deadzones and input lag just like a regular DS4?

  6. So I should definitely stop using my wired Xbox 360 pad.

I did start playing RL quite recently and was using my mates Xbox One X pad and it was nice but I just dug out my 360 pad thinking there wasn't much of a difference.

  7. A good comparison of the input lag and consistency between Bluetooth vs connected via a wire would be like ping is the Bluetooth's input lag being slightly lower, however the inconsistency would be like packet loss due to missed inputs not being received

  8. The only reason I would never play rocket league with an Xbox one or series controller is because the letter buttons seem to sometimes not respond if you don’t press them down hard enough even if the button has already gone down

  9. A lot of these reviews fail to cover durability. The #1 issue within the RL community is broken controllers. Comfort and performance don’t matter when most controllers last 6 months or less.

  10. idk whether or not its bc my friends ps4 controller is old but he bought his controller round and i felt the xbox controller be more stable. most likely bc his is old but i prefer xbox anyway bc ive used it for 10yrs now so its hard to change.
