alot of people say rotation is more important, and i agree, but if it comes to not hitting the ball in the air or not being able to half flip IN GC, mechanics or more like the fundamentals are more important, gamesense comes as you play
Can you give Luke a lesson or two Wayton! he was spreading the misinfo in a recent short to new players that tornado spinning was "the fastest way from A-B" recently.
You can be a 1's main, and be mechanically skilled out of your a$$ – still won't mean you play ROCKET LEAGUE well, in the other games modes.. I'm C2~ give or take every season, im not the most mechanically skilled player, i never play 1's AT all. But, i know my rotations well, know when Not to double/triple commit, i look at the game and my teammates, and what they are doing and play Way more patiently because of it. Could i score more goals being able to breezy flick/flip reset on command? Probably.. Would that increase my WINRATE in threes? Probably not.
I think Polar and Wayton would agree with each other, I think Wayton interpreted mechanics as things like air dribbling, flip resets, and musties while Polar was just talking about the fundamental core mechanics like shooting
I’ve got so much synergy built up with my buddy I cannot solo queue at all I keep over rotating and stuff and not able to play off the solo queue but when I’m with the buddy I play with the most stuff just clicks and it’s insane
OK GOT IT SO!! long story short fastest way to rank up is have good positioning and rotations and learn the ability to score on your own in 1v1 bcuz your teammates cant score for shit and you're the only hope of winning for ur team unless ur playing with ur friends on smurf accounts 😂 bcuz everyone's a GC now in the low ranks Mr. Spook you taught them well on how to smurf with undercover pros on smurf accounts 4 a title but not develop the skills of a real GC player now we got Npcs in diamond and champ lobbies rocking grand champ titles and they play like doggy doo thanks coach appreciate it
dont listen to these clowns you absolutely need mechs. if you want to rank up fast head in freeplay DO training packs and rewatch your replays. you WILL plateau if you dont. you dont need to be a freestyler but them saying you dont need mechs is a blatant lie.
A point starting with "always" is probably a myth. More specifics are needed when explaining mechanics. To get to GC, you don't need to know how to dribble, but you do need to know where to be, how to pass and how to shoot pretty well. Those involve a lot of mechanical movement and practice.
I don’t agree with Wayton on having unlimited boost on free play off because in my opinion free play is a place to practice mechanics. Unless you’re using it to memorize where the boost pads are.
When it comes to party up or solo queue, for me, i mainly solo queue simply bc nearly all my friends who play rl are leagues above me in overall skill level. I keep hitting d1 but loose it quickly bc of this. Another part is that my ability to being 'good' is not consistent at all. Although a lot of times its simply because the opponent is simply better. … connection is not wired so big lag spike happen in every game.
In 2's, deep in the net (back side) is always better. More momentum on the ball vs back post. Don't forget the shallow rotatations that cause half of the goals in mid Champ. Watch airchargedrl if you want proof.

You can rank up faster by downloading the easier Pro version of Rocket League.
Find me a grand champ with no mechs and ill believe it lol

does your grand champ road map include GC in 1s?

I got to gc without advanced mechanics lmao
merch background is fire
What plug-in is used to get that ring on the bottom of the ball
bro plats are freestyling some dude was airdribbling in gold
Mechanics are great. I carried myself to diamond just from mechanics. I am definitely a gold in pure skill.
Biggest Myth Fair Matches
Did anyone else click on this video because of the thumbnail? They never even mentioned air rolling lol I got got by CLICK BAIT again 🤬

Game sense and basic mechanics are a deadly combo
is it free?

this is really good RL advice for ranking up faster
