Hum, I was in a hurry getting the lore master and turn in the quest. It turns out you can go back after turning in the quest. Just go back to him /way The Azure Span:Dragon Isles 45.02 54.05 Ruriq and try again. Took me 2 tries. (For me, I was using Raven to track buff and cooldown, and the number of fish tracked was consistent).
When the lag was not too bad I actually managed to get 36 fish in one run. I could have got the last four if I didn't mis-click a couple of times. Hint. You can start fishing BEFORE the boat starts moving and you can cast quite a long distance. That's a neat toy. You can fish from the dinghy!
ok wot lvl where u when u done this im only 64 so i couldent do it hard too even get too the boat
the flying back up to the top was a game changer as asking to be teleported reset the progress. Thanks 🙂
yeah this is a hack and you should be reported. it's fixed now thankfully but anyone who got the achievement the sleazy way should have it removed along with the toy.
Don't get out the boat at the end, stay in keep tagging the three fish until you hit 40

As of today, they must have fixed it because it was not working for me.
as of 12/16/22 it seems they fixed it, cause I ran it 4 times and the count reset every run. I have the old raft so hell with the dingy.
The nets keep not connecting. Super frustrating. It seems there can only be one net active at a time, like its a goddamn NES game.
