  1. @Mystifying Hawkeye  I plan to do something for 1,000K subs (not for 500). Probably some sort of Q&A like you said, but on a more personal interaction level. In the distant future, I hope to do something much more epic, but for now I'll do what I can.

  2. You can step up your mantis gameplay if you just use your rockets way more. They are like a power weapon in your back that you use a lot fewer than you should. Right at the point where you killed a few enemies and still have 1 or 2 rockets left, empty the clip so that you reload them. There are infinite rockets, so why not just use all of them? In the beginning you almost didn't use any of them, you can very easily kill people who are close to you, if you just use those rockets, then target the next enemy and kill him. Even if you are able to kill them easily with your chain gun, you could save at least 1.5 – 2 seconds each kill so that the enemies do less damage to your team. If you see someone approaching but don't have a clear angle on him, just charge up your rockets and then attack him if you get an angle on him. This is like a secured kill for you, there is no way to escape 5 Mantis rockets + chaingun damage in close to mid and even mid-far range. If you fired all your rockets you still got that chaingun with the gunner perk, so you are definitely not without defense, you can kill at least 3 players with that thing in the time that your rockets are reloading. Also charge up the rockets way earlier if you see an enemy vehicle. You can deal a lot of damage to the enemy mantis if you peek out and surprise him with 5 rockets to the face + chaingun.
If I play Mantis, I always load up my rockets, even if I don't even see anybody on my radar. I can just shoot them at a point where an enemy could be or just shoot them at a wall, so that I do not hit a teammate. You do not run out of rockets, so use them as much as you can. You also need to preshoot them, since they need time to travel, you got to aim them where the enemy will be in a moment, according to his distance. I played in the Mantis a lot and I consider myself pretty good with it, so this is one of the few topics in Halo that I can give you some tips on :D.
