I wish Sony would just let us play together
For fuck sake.
As a PS4 owner, I really wish Sony would support cross play. It would help keep player bases on many online games healthy, even when they are old and dying. I also think it would be healthier for these "console wars" and fanboys would be less fanboys and more open to people gaming on other systems, when they learn that their online friends play on different systems from them.
Just to get this out of the way – the reason I really like this random "Outside the Box" series, which will likely ALWAYS be random, is I think even as Nintendo fans, we shouldn't pretend the rest of the industry doesn't exist. We should know what's going on and we should keep ourselves informed. I think the next one I do is going to be about the Xbox, maybe. I dunno, as I said I don't plan this series out, but I want to keep Nintendo fans slightly informed on the ongoings. It just so happens this is a negative take on Sony, but I have some positive notes in the video too. In fact, I have a video in the works on how Nintendo could learn from Sony and Xbox.
But yeah.
Figured this would be a neat experiment and if folks hate it, than that's that. Won't do it again.

I have a PS4, and all of my friends have Nintendo Switches. I want to play Minecraft and Rocket League with them, but I can't. I don't already own the games, so I probably won't buy them, considering I only want to play them with friends.
Sony could rack up some more cash off of their already existing PS4 owners selling Cross-Play titles, because more people on their system would buy them.

I can play rocket league with my Xbox friends when I'm playing on my Xbox one x in native 4K then when I have to go somewhere I can pick up the switch and still play with my Xbox friends. It's a shame that Sony doesn't want to be apart something great
I could never support ps as my main gaming platform. I'll only turn on the ps4 for exclusives. And considering there isnt many things that make ps a better system than xbox, id recommend others do the same until sony straighten out their shit. Sony is trying to control the industry, dont let them.
Cross-platform play will be the standard eventually. People will be turned off if companies don't do that.

I don't like sony's behavior either but it's kinda a minor issue to me compared to having no exclusives i actually care about or being unable to buy the fucking switch because its never in stock where i live its like all console companies have gone to hell.
