Technically you could trade it with FireRed. Just Google search VisuaBoyAdvance Link and download a VBA emulator that includes the 'link' option. When you have FireRed running on VBA Link open VBA Link again but open LeafGreen and you will be running 2 emulators at the same time. It will run slow because of running 2 emulators at the same time and it will be hard to synchronize the movements but yeah that's how you can trade between firered & leafgreen on VBA Link. Also, you don't need the National Dex.
