I too did a second run, I can not do time trials due to my handy cap, but I did beat the first time of 20 hours down to 8 hours , probably could have done it fast with the use of two full hands….or maybe if I get a controller for my puter 🤓

I have a bit of advice for everyone who ran through the Expedition to get their new goodies (which I totally get, trust me 😅). If you just run through it at first go ahead, but I’d highly suggest doing another play through where you take a bit more time and really pay attention to the story. It’s really good in this Expedition and has some serious implications towards the story in the future. Call me a whore for lore if you will, but I can’t wait to see where this goes!

A quick method for early units: One of the planets in the first system (or is it second?) is pretty well resourced with Ancient Bones. 10 minutes digging those up, you should get a couple that yield millions of units unless you're unlucky. Also, once you have the Interceptor, you can then salvage it and get around 3mil units + some nanites from salvaged upgrades.

Well completed the exp. OK tried to get everything in my main save,nothing showing up.Started another save still nothing. Lol,I now remember why I never play them at all.

Doing second run and noticed something odd and a little worrying . Had multiplayer turned off the whole time but multitools at camps are already gone so are sentinel ships, even the wheelbarrows have been looted.

I actually had a bug where I was supposed to go to the atlas for the seed and my Galaxy map kept only showing the galactic core even though I was set to the right mission. I had to go to Polo and activate the show me the atlas to find one. Just a little tip for people that also have that bug.

The expedition isn't completing for me it says congratulations traveler all expedition goals complete but my save file isn't converting and the objective that says expedition complete isn't filled in yet

I heard if you visit somebody else's freighter it could fix this but I don't have any friends

…or you can load back to your Restore Point after you get first head to complete 2nd head. Save yourself the hassle of 2+ hrs of another run through.

For the second run thru, if you're going for the second head, you don't need to follow the entire expedition. Just the rendezvous points for the construct part recipes. Grab the rendezvous points and needed supplies along the way, hit Atlas once to show all the parts, and collect 2 echo seeds for Nada. Don't need to complete the other milestones to get awake the convergence and get the second construct head.

i think t was an A Class already and its already S- Class by now. i stumbled upon a good Runaway Mould on my run and took the time for upgrading Ship and Multitool which was A-Class too.

You couldn't remove rockets from your old ship because every ship require at least one weapon… even if said weapon is a mod for a weapon instead of actual weapon. Basically, you have to keep one weapon-related something in the ship.

I did quite well killing sentinels while flying my ship, less exposure, get them and the drill rigg and run to space. easy to outrun the chasers
