40 Gedanken zu „Nintendo Switch Games Holiday Buying Guide & What To AVOID!“
  1. Great video. I love that it's partially geared towards people who may not be gamers. HOWEVER I have to say Miitopia is an awesome game, and a totally worthy purchase (though yeah, may not be the greatest Christmas gift). Either way, enjoyed the video!

  2. For me, just until performance issues are fixed, it’s Arceus > SV. And I love Violet. I think it’s amazing and one of the best installments in the series and I actually really like how the story is handled and the MC is a student. It makes more sense than being a randomly lucky child that lives in the same small town as the professor who just so happens to want to send you on an adventure across the country capturing animals. Fight me.

  3. 9:31 (Fire EMblem Warriors) Nope, it's not a prequel. You probably got it confused with the new one, which has the subtitle "Three Hopes". But the one you showed, the original, does stand on it's own. People who played the earlier games will of course enjoy it much more, cuz they get all the references and know all the characters, but other than that, it's certainly it's own thing

  4. 4:09 Where as I would say stick with Legends because Scarlet and Violet are just more of the same game they have made for 22+ years where as Legends have some new creative mechanics…. yes I know S/V are open world and on top of the 8 normal gyms and elite 4 there is also the 5 team star bases and 4 "legendary pokemon" fights, but realistically all the open world does is take away the need for things like rock smash and surf to progess and the 9 extra battles are just more of the same, where as Legends mixed stuff up a bit, sure it is mostly the same, but it is definitely more unique then Pokemon 864 and 865 Cat Puke Yellow and Dog sh** brown (yeah by the 800s they ran out of Crayola color names to choose from and had to start using less appealing color names)… Obviously game 864 and the color naming is being sarcastic, but still point is that even when they games went to 3D the innovation in the main line series has been about as much as Madden has innovated since they got the exclusive rights to the NFL to remove any and all competition so they could release the same game every year without doing anything new where as Legends actually brings something new to the table to the point it is the first Pokemon game since Gold/Silver where I have actually been invested into the game, sure I have played most the generations besides black/white and sword/shield but none of them really hooked me because they where all copy paste with very little updates besides visuals.

  5. not to be mean but the Arcadia bay collection is not all the life is strange games, it's life is strange 1 and the prequel life is strange before the storm. Life is Strange 3 is seperate and Life is Strange 2 isn't on the switch.

  6. I'm trying to complete my Pokémon video game collection since I don't have Pokémon Soul Silver for my Nintendo DS systems as well as both Pokémon Scarlet and the non-dlc versions of both Pokémon Sword and Shield without the expansion pass for my Nintendo Switch Lite and then I'll be able to play them all whenever I want.

  7. I'm 26 and have played games my whole life but this year I'm getting my 4 year old a switch and considering how little older games decrease in price, a guide like this is very clutch for a young parent who loves games but has never owned a Nintendo console before

  8. Recommend for the casual gamer, Story of Seasons franchise. It’s a farmer simulator; You can visit the villagers, raise animals, grow crops etc…
Pioneers of Olive Town—if the person enjoys crafting
Friends of Mineral Town—Heard good things about it, haven’t personally played on Switch, I did play it on Gameboy though and liked it

A Wonderful Life—hasn’t come out yet, it’s set to release in 2023, Its the most anticipated game in the franchise thus far, it’s being ported over from GameCube under the name “Harvest Moon” and combining both “A wonderful life” & “Another Wonderful Life”.. Which is where I played it and loved it. So potentially next year recommendation for the casual gamer

  9. Even the games you said don't recommend that I liked, I couldn't help but agree. Digimon Survive isn't bad, but it's very different mechanically then, say, Digimon Cyber Sleuth double pack. More fun and freedom growing digimon. I do like Daemon x Machina as well though, being one of the few fly around your own mecha games. You also gave a warning about Pokemon S/V which is appreciated while acknowledging it probably wouldn't deter buyers anyway. All and all, very thorough list, gj.

  10. i missed watching your videos, its been awhile since i kept up but im really glad youre making nintendo buying guides (despite i am disliking this company more and more over time)

  11. 10 Hear ye the word which the Lord speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:

2 Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.

4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.

6 Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O Lord; thou art great, and thy name is great in might.

    Jeremiah 10:1-6 KJV
