Can I get the shiny magikarp if it’s not a 5 star? Also, does magikarp only spawn in 5 stars?
For some reason the event pokemon aren't spawning for me. The changing time thing resets the den for me but its never any event pokemon. Im prob doing something wrong or something tho.
Does it have to be a purple beam 5 star for the shiny or can it be a 5 star red beam?
I joined a raid with a friend and we got it. We called each other in excitement when we saw gold. I didn’t know there were different kinds of shiny though. Thanks for the video.

This works exactly as explained if there is any doubt from some of the comments below. Took me 26 day advances for the first shiny. 15 minutes and it was spawned.
So if it's not the shiny, can you just reload the save and check the same beam for the shiny or do you need to do the wishing piece process all over again?
Thers a glitch now that if u have a xsenerses it will show its shiny in venue but in battle its not
