seems pretty sly
was it just me or was the video cut short? ._.
I dont undesrstand this cheat….
Is it just picking up your scry lands and replaying them or something else??
I don't understand the cheat. Can you post to explain?
Quite sad to see Chapin having to lose a match that he was seemingly going to win, due to an honest mistake.
This video doesn't explain it well. Mr. Valdivia played the scry land looked at the top of his library then passed the turn. Mr. Ancona played End Hostilities and cleared the board, at that time Mr. Valdivia picked up his land from the board and put it back into his hand to replay it on the next turn to scry again and find dissolve.
the temple of deceit was picked up when he was picking up his hand after his opponent castes end hostilities..
skip to 30:50 on the youtube video of round 7 uploaded by wizards and watch the temple of deceit
So Ancona doesn't pay attention to his opponents lands. Chapin played an extra land against him and he doesn't catch that the temple from his opponent was removed from the field. These things are taking place on pretty clear board states.
why is this a cheat? seems like a legit combo to me.
This video sucks. You don't even show the actual cheat in real time.
The actual cheat is the guy playing his scry land then passing the turn, towards the end of his opponent's turn he picked up the SAME land he JUST played on his previous turn, then playing it again. He did this really just to get an advantage to actually hitting with Narset's ability rather than missing.
Thing is, camera rules dont, and shouldnt according to Wizards of the Coast, apply to things like this, an example would be Patrick Chapin's match. If the spotters dont catch it then the camera can not be used as a VITAL piece of evidence as it would not be fair to players who are not in the feature match on camera. Sucks :/
I always put my scry lands in my hand… When I bounce my Pearl Lake.
It has nothing to do with Narset? He just picked up his Scry land after a board wipe to play it again… which is dirty. How did the opponent not notice?
Why did you cut the video off mid-word?
I have narset transcendent. I pulled it from my 4th Dragons of tarkir pack.
