Is it that uncommon to get placed in the rank that you were in the previous season immediately maybe it's different at that highest level but I've never been placed in anything much lower than where I was the previous season if anything I get placed higher and I end up falling back down now the highest I've been is diamond but I've been placed higher. Maybe once you get to gc or ssl it's different..
A win within reach is worse. You get invested and give your hopes up. A no chance loss you just mentally start checking out cuz you don’t care anymore.

As a hardstuck GC1, I didn't notice any higher-ranked players down here, I noticed lower-ranked players that were higher than they were supposed to be. Kept seeing teammates going on a class excursion while I was left alone on defense.

Leth always makes Rocket League look/seem fun. What with his custom maps, gameplay videos, or occasional community events, he always finds a way to make it seem interesting. Even when I'm not having a good RL day, just a Leth video or two will make my day so much better. Thanks Leth for all you do, and don't stop doing what you're doing. We all love it!
This is why im not playing ranked yet cause in c3 there will be gc2/3 and sometimes even low ssl at season start and im not tryna get wiped down to c1 cause thats a lot of grinding to get back

Dropping everyone to 1540 is prob the best way to prevent inflation to ssl, creates unbalance sometimes at the start/mid season but its part of the grind. Also is exactly where everyone use to be dropped ages ago.
