49 Gedanken zu „Ich habe aus einem Steam-Deck eine Nintendo Switch PRO gemacht“
  1. Using ryujinx (switch emulator) on the steam deck was quite nice as I got to play handheld botw portably along with using an Xbox controller which was just amazing and so much better than I thought it would be. For those who can i totally recommend trying switch emulation on this thing as it is a monster of a handheld

  2. I just use a dongle style dock that I got for 30 bucks and it works great with everything I have tested so far. It can handle every ps3 era game at 1080p no problem, some even in 4k, and the majority of ps4 era games will have no issues at at 1080p either. Definitely something that can not be said about the switch.

  3. How am I meant to throw my money at a steam deck if they aren’t selling them in Australia yet 😢 I mean I could go the vpn routine but I would just like valve to give an ETA for when it’ll be in Australia

  4. For my boyfriends birthday tomorrow, all of his family and friends and my family chipped in and got him the big boy steam deck. It won’t be here by his birthday unfortunately but I think I saw a tear in his eyes when I told him what his present was.

  5. I ended up getting a dongle dock, mainly because my laptops are way more capable for 4k gaming lol. I'd rather connect my pc to my tv than either my laptop or deck, but if I'm going on vacation I'll need that dongle. I'll definitely steam to my deck though at least to try it. I really want to try ESO natively though.

  6. The way Wood complains about the lack of a charge port on the bottom of the Deck is the way that I felt about Switch's port on the bottom. The way I typically use both systems puts the bottom on my stomach for additional steadying support. When the Switch's battery runs low, using it becomes nearly unbearably uncomfortable.

  7. About the Steam Link, I really wish people would let that narrative die.

First, they didn't stop supporting it. We have one that we bought second hand it kept getting updates. The last update was in december 2021, even though the devices were discontinued in 2018.

Second, they just realized everyone has a smart tv now and they developed a Steam Link app that everyone can download FOR FREE.

So they support their old hardware for years while giving everyone that didn't buy it the same options for free. How is that not supporting something?
I just don't get it. Do people want them to keep creating e-waste even though they've made a software based alternative that works just as good (or even better, in my experience)?

  8. Keep in mind, some of these issues will probably become less of an issue after not too long, Valve has been updating the Deck left and right, that's one of the best things about it is the frequent updates.

Also Cyberpunk got a FSR 2.1 update that significantly improved performance, I think that happened after this video so might be worth giving a try.

  9. PSA: Nintendo just updated the Privacy Policy mainly to allow them to fingerprint your devices and network. The possibility is not far off that they’ll try to figure out if you’re emulating their games or running CFW.

Imagine if you had a CFWd device that you mainly use for homebrew, and your standard device used for playing games, they can now link your usage of a CFW device because its been used in the same network.

  10. Spiderman might have a dynamic resolution thing going on? Where when it's going too slow it reduces the resolution to try and keep the framerates up. IDK do PC games do that? Can PC games do that? I know it's really common in console games, which technically Spiderman is since it's a port

  11. the real meta with steam is to not dock your steam deck, but instead you play games portable on the Deck, and then have a full fat PC hooked up to the TV that syncs your save files seamlessly over Steam Cloud, using either the SteamOS clone HoloISO or just windows with big picture mode. (real steamOS is supposed to eventually get released for regular computers but Valve haven't gotten around to it yet.)

  12. Unfortunately elden rings anti cheat caps the frame rates in handheld (still looks great) and I think it causes issues in docked mode. Hopefully they fix this bc its my favorite game to play on my steam deck. Going to try cyberpunk also. Also make sure you have the latest proton GE download. That fixes tons of issues

  13. Manchild still crying that he was fired from Nintendo years ago for uploading “Zelda mods/hacks” video. My man pretending Nintendo didn’t have an excuse, as a company move I can understand why bc they’re very by the book with lots of rules. This guy whom I’ve been watching for years, does not care if he breaks rules and just whines nonstop bout everything so I can see while I like watching him; how Nintendo didn’t want to be associated or have him in their content creator pay roll
