Ugh.. people don’t know how to use AI. Nothing against ya bud but you have to give it specific parameters to understand the query.. I would’ve used this:
Create a mediocre level NHL team consisting of 4 centers, 4 left wingers, 4 right wingers, 3 left defensemen and 3 right defensemen and 2 goalies.

This in fact gives you what you were looking for and believe me, it’s exactly a mediocre team that could make it to poffs

You should do this again but ask it specific questions every round. What position? This player or that player? What handed defenseman? Etc

I did the prompt of. “Draft me an NHL team that is salary cap compliant “ and it did quite well.

Do a draft where every line has to be the same overall and you can’t have for example two lines of 85

NHL Nuzlocke challenge? Anytime a player gets injured they must be traded immediately, no players back in the trade (so picks as return) and you have to roll with the AHL/NHL roster you have until free agency. Extra challenge: if a player is injured in the AHL, they must also be traded.
