I couldn't get it to work with the pc name, I found a way around it.
Open files and go to your desktop and locate the runelite launcher. Left click the runelite launcher once, after it's selected right click it. Select open file location.
Now on top you see a search bar which you can copy and paste on the Steam launcher as described in the video.
Simply add /Runelite %command% at the end of it.

Would multiple instances (two accounts logged in on same computer) count as two people on steam? I’m guessing that it probably doesn’t while a significant portion of osrs player base multilogs.

We'd actually only need to capture 0.5% of all the current steam users to effectively double the player base. Capturing 5% would get us to close to a million osrs players. Great vid!!

Bro runelite makes osrs so much better esp in graphics.. Only if we they can make it better looking in general that will soley attract and keep players. Also the highly populated areas should always get new additions to it. Like the Sand Casino. If we have people always there why not make the damn place look better? It'll attract more people around runescape.

Make sure the game works .. the client crashes at character creation already.. i am not gonna bother until they fixed it.. if i gonna bother at all anymore …
I play games since 1984 and i am tired of being forced to be a programmer to make certain games work and edit whatever .. nowadays they should have bugless games that shouldnt take hours of browsing ini and whatever files to make it work or find workarounds to get it to run

runelite needs to add the uncap fps like steam client does

disable steam overlay if its buggy
right click osrs then press properties>general> disable steam overlay

when trying to log in after successfully allowing steam to run runelite how do you log in is it steam username in game name or steam acc email
thanks! i really didn't want to link my account I've had for almost 2 decades to my steam account that I've had for about 6 years…. something about that bothered me… maybe i'd feel different if i could link ALL of my RS accounts but oh well
TBH, people who play OSRS have known about it and it has been around. It coming out on steam doesn't actually change much other then sparking certain people's interest into playing who never played a lot before. People who play already and have accounts probably don't want to make another new one just for steam. Not to mention the game doesn't have the best graphical appeal and blatant grindiness that many people just don't get into..
