I don't get how everyone I watch in these Road to GC/SSL gets the same players multiple times
One thing ive noticed about rocket league is it always looks way easier when your watching it versus when your playing.. me and my friend are both C2 and when i watch his streams it does LOOK like everyones a bot making huge mistakes but when im in game everything feels faster, more intense, im thinking about a bunch of things at once, its just much harder to capitalize in game in real time.. i agree with people it does LOOK easier but i also know its not easier then my lobbies it just seems so simple when your not the one playing
To be completely fair though, solo queue games are far easier if you can deal with trash teammates. I get trash teammates and would rather solo queue than play 2s with my diamond friend who ball chases to no end and says "I got it" then whiffs or passes to the opponents and they don't immediately pass back but take possession. Far sweatier in duo queue

Luke, flip resets are absolutely a gc1 mechanic. You said I shouldn't be able to flip reset in this game

sadly we get bad tm8s by unluckiness, i got a tm8 who was toxic, throwing and left half game, cant control some games but most games we can thanks to luke
if you guys look closely in these road to ssl series, these are exactly how your games look like. Idk maybe the dudes who do self replay analysis youll notice how much worse you actually play than what you think
The one thing that pisses me off though about these series is these downgrading comments about every rank really messes with my head and while im queuing i can notice i stop respecting my opponents and completely disregard their capabilities on offense and defense because well “this rank sucks” and its actually really hard to get the right mindset back

Solo queueing is not the way. Too many toxic teammates out there that send you down the ladder to feed their narcissism rather than win and rank up. I am overwhelmed with happiness when I run into a good teammate.. Just too few and far between unfortunately.
