It seems like every pro player or rocket league coach contradicts each other. One person says never let the ball get close to your goal and another says to let it get right in front of your goal

Only really applies to 1v1 or maybe 2s if ur tm8 hasn’t recovered

The problem with meeting them close to the goal is that they always end up blocking you and score. The easiest way would be the first imo, but the most consistent would be the second.

The problem w that imo is flip resets. They can be done at any time, can be placed anywhere, and you don’t know how much power it has. So waiting for it to get as close to the goal won’t always work
