34 Gedanken zu „How I Would Learn WoW Arena (If I Could Start Over)“
  1. step1: create dh
step2: wait until patchday on wednesday (eu)
    step3: farm bg gear
    step4: stomp noobs in arena
step5: flame about range classes on the forum because you reached 2k and good players will be forced
step6: tell ppl pvp is bad and need fixed

    nice vid btw <3

  2. I don't care what you say, most people arent streamers, awc competitors or gladiators. If you gotta reroll to play the most broken classes and comps every season that screams desperate for validation to me. You're like a sports fan whose favourite team to support is whoever is winning at this particular time because you think it makes you look good by association.

The counterstrike example would make sense if guns were rebalanced every couple of months, and you had to invest weeks of levelling a character + several days of setting up your UI, binds and macros etc just to play a class you don't enjoy as much.

There's a fundamental difference between having your classes time to shine, and dunking on everyone else because you play the most broken shit every season. What makes it most annoying is that it almost forces everyone else play like this as well, or just suffer as a minority on a class they actually enjoy.

God the worst part about a r1 player having a stupid take is that half of them now feel validated

  3. For me the biggest problem in arena is get overthrown with the amount of things that happen all at once and the amount of things you need to get track off, My biggest achievement was only 2krating in 2s but that was only once and mostly i got to 1.95 around that… However i never spent so many hours in arenas maybe thats also a factor + teaming up finding a team i feel like is very frustrating because people don’t have patience with teaming.

  4. The charge/hamstring macro never fails due to Charge's minimum distance. If you wanna off-snare as long as they're in melee range it won't charge. I have one for my SV hunter too. D will Conc Shot my target, but will harpoon a mouseover. Amazing for keeping my target while I poontrap healers.

  5. Unfortunatelly new players that try wow pvp give up on it extremely fast because there is no casual playerbase in pvp anymore and those 500 ppl on leaderboards are extremely toxic towards casuals/newcomers spamming bullshit emotes every game

  6. Everyone complained about the AWP when I played Counterstrike, and some servers banned them. Too much power for the range was the argument, but it was like the Golden Gun in Goldeneye, you can only fire it once and then it has to reload.

  7. Skill capped, can u please do a deep analysis Positioning breakdown video? So many games are lost because of poor positioning, and dmg and cc are also benefited by good positioning. Please break it down for us.

  8. Been stuck at 2100 since bfa I can't seem to get over it no matter how much I que or Try I watch so many videos and research as much as I can but still stuck and feel I'm doing something wrong but can't seem figure out

  9. 20:12 the volume you mention is not just overall, but current. Doesnt matter if someone has done thousand of arena matches if it was few expansions ago, or even few seasons ago…

I had to come to terms with the fact that i now suck at WoW simply because i don't have time to play so much as i used to. Nowdays i am able to get 15-20 matches a week if lucky and the game outpaced me. Muscle memory got sloppy, reaction time slow, awerness is gone….

I am now happy just casualy playing at low ratings, but for my ego it was hard truth to swallow that I, who used to play among best on my server over a decade ago am getting owned by people who weren't even born when i started with WoW 😀

  10. This video seems to be made specifically for me. Thank you for considering new and unskilled players. I appreciate this kind of content =)

In practice, I've done pvp since vanilla and still find myself currently stuck at 1200 again. It appears that just playing for a long time doesn't make one automatically good.

I was watching the video and thought I've heard this before. Then near the end, point 7, game knowledge, clicked for me. It seems to be the key. I realized I don't know anything about other classes' abilities. I haven't even bothered to read all of mine in detail. And it's been 20 years =) Because of this, I don't recognize game states. I don't know how to respond to enemy CDs. I seldom even notice when they're popped. And also I almost always fail at executing CC with burst.

This was a fine video for identifying the weaknesses. It'd be great, if you could next do one about designing a training regime. For example, how do you learn all the abilities? There are literally hundreds. I keep looking at them and still, when I see the small icons pop again, my mind is blank =) It's harder than learning a new language.
    I just can't remember them.

  11. This is how i like skillcapped. The narrator is being himself and to the point. Not like the other narrator who clearly is pretending, high pitched forced voice and cringe unwanted jokes.

  12. Great video, personally I have given up on competitive pvp. Battlegrounds are still fun but I am pushing 40, no longer have the time or the mental capacity to pvp at high levels anymore. Brain just doesnt fire like it used to, hard to react as quick as these young guys can, and now theres so many skills its almost impossible to remember all this shit lol
