  18. I love this idea! The amount of times he was so close to big boost but didn’t go for/missed it was crazy!

    I'd love to see more videos like this from you Leth, different people will make different mistakes/off plays and it'll be great to see all the different ways we could go wrong and what to do instead.

    I’ve picked up quite a bit from this personally, not sure it'll help in d3/c1 since everyone is a monkey at these ranks and shots are 80% booms but i’m gonna take a lot from this and see if I can add it to my game 🙂

  29. 15:32 everyone always coaches like this, with an extremely specific contextual analysis of individual plays that doesn't even matter. but WHAT is the GENERAL IDEA?! that's what matters!
    1. don't pass the ball to the other team for free! 3:51 1:08 (you'll say you were low on boost, but i see that and it was still a bad play here) 6:14 (and don't be that guy pushing ball in front of net)
    2. rotate to farpost! 13:58 3:18
    3. if your in front, go high and your teammate will rotate to farpost and he will go low! 13:21 1:30 5:04
    4: don't commit when your last man! 4:53 10:30
    5. don't double commit! 13:31
    (your literally a retired pro, so some of these aren't too bad, but some definitely were. but i think it's funny to find faults in YOU leth, rather than him.. since ur the teacher here)

    the general IDEA is to:
    secure your net! stopping goals is generally better than scoring!
    keep possession! A.K.A. don't just give them your ball for free, don't justify it! don't let them have it! that's MY ball! that net WASN'T open, the backboard wasn't free! your wrong! keep it in the team!

    i only try to score if i CAN. if it's completely defended, then im doing something else to strategically gain advantage, such as bumping, or boost hogging, or passing/backpassing.

    good strategy, provides open nets and security! if your nets are NOT open, and you are getting scored on, you are NOT doing the good strategy! (or you are mechanically equivalent to a gold, like i am)
