the water rides are closed during the winter season, I recommend planning for 2 days for all rides one day will not be enough.
i have visited many theme parks, world wide, but the Europa Park is the only park where the combination of rides, rollercoasters and the setting is working so good together. You can maybe compare it with Disney Land. If you want to visit the Europa Park you should stay over night at Hotel Colosseo right at the park (it is expensice but it is worth it) and be 3 days in the park to discover the whole park without stress.
if you ever decide to go we will gladly give you a Tour. There are some nice Themehotels and a Waterpark too. Best Park in Germany.
You should check out the Miniatur Wunderland Hamburg too, its the biggest model train in the world and even has more visitors than Schloss Neuschwanstein
its just more than just a model railway, its realistic landscape etc….

I'm from Germany and live pretty close so i visited the Park a few a Times.
If you ever get the chance you should definitly visit.
But If you visit next year make Sure that the new Roller coaster they are building right now is already opened. It would be a shame to Go there and Not being able to ride the new one.
