  1. When I got one I didn’t use the microscope and but I did used lenses .
The system turned one and the board lighted up. But it didn’t run any cartridges. I didn’t see any shorts. Took it out and while taking it out I damaged the white board. Planning on getting a new board and hoping that the CPU and GPU are still ok.

  2. I'd love to have this board for a IPS modded GBA, but I have no where near the skill do to go a CPU and RAM transfer. I have a feeling even if I provided a donor GBA CPU and RAM, commissioning one will probably be out of my price range. Same for a pre-built board (no syren or housing).

  3. I’m glad to see you do the new version. I just finished mine last week (same color as this one) and I can definitely concurs, it’s but no means a novice task. But time and patience and you can do it. Keep up the great content! I’ve referenced your videos a lot when I was learning soldering.

  4. This mod saved my GBA! I had tried everything to get it working, but no luck. I took a risk on this new board because I do not have a lot of soldering experience. But I was able to do the transfer with no issues. Just take your time. Flux and solder wick are your best friends. No hot air station, no problem! Use a generous amount of Chipquix low-melt solder paste to remove your CPU and RAM, and clean up the pins with flux and solder wick.

  5. I'd love a more integrated version of this that has USB C charging support.

A native Bluetooth audio mod would make this a must have too. (also stereo)

As it is now, it's all the work for some pretty lights on the PCB

  6. Sorry if this is the wrong platform, but do you have a discord or some such instead?
I mean it may be common knowledge but ive only been into modding for 6 months or so 😅
Pretty sure Ive found AN (not necessarily THE) OEM vendor for Funnyplaying parts?
Unbranded of course but the shells, the speakers, scren kits, you name it.
