  1. As a side not for more veteran players, if you're capped on Poetics and don't know what to spend them on, buy gear from SB and turn it in for GC seals. That's just free money right there. Also, buying Glass Fiber with your GC seals is a good sink as well, as you need them for housing projects.

  2. I always roll the highest it will let me on just about everything. Even if it's a minion or something I already have, if it's tradeable. Market board fodder. Unless it's a piece of gear and someone asks for it.

  3. I always felt I was holding everyone up why I passed on the loot. I do need HELP make that a lot of help please. I'm just returning after not playing for a few years. I was caring for my Father that passed away last January 2020, I lost My Mother this past January. I play on a Ps4 I'm Drk knight level 70. I'm 55 yrs old so muscle memory uhmm 😅. I'm having problems with my rotation and the lay out on the hudbar is driving me crazy. Can someone help me please, I have dungeon to do, and to get on with my MSQ.My daughter telling me a computer would be better and easier to use,not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

  4. There is a whole bunch of material you can sell on the MB for decent profit. More than 1 gil per seal, up to 1:5 at some times.
I’m not telling exactly what items but it’s definetly worth it to look into it.

Desynthing I do too. I save up about half an inventory and use the food + drink that increases desynth skill increase. Some pretty decent money in that too. On par with selling GC seal crafter material items I’d say.

As a bonus tip for making a ton of money: do treasure maps! Way too few people doing those.

  5. Would be cool if they had a way to filter items from all your class sets from being turned in because I don’t always play on all my classes and don’t wanna accidentally throw something away that I needed. That’s why I just don’t do this and I’m not a noob. But I’m also a crafter so the change this would give me literally wouldn’t make a difference as I already don’t need the Gil. But if I were new I would definitely do this it helped a ton when I was new.

  6. Gave ya a thumbs up. I knew this b/c when i stopped playing WoW about 5 years ago a couple of my guildies decided to play FF14. I'm playing it casually now for 2 reasons. 1) Final Fantasy on the original Nintendo was my first RPG EVER! (was about 5 years old and my parents were amazed I was taking the time to read all the dialogue) 2) FF11 was my 1st MMORPG…sure it didn't hold up well nor compete with WoW but I still loved the hundreds of hours I sunk into FF11.

  7. Good tip for newer players, Its how I cap on seals. But after that, no, it’s not much of a Gil maker and there’s better things to do with my time than dragging out dungeons to be even longer. I’m always polite though and ask if anyone cares about loot, it’s 99% a no don’t care. I do appreciate it when I’m levelling tank alts tho

  8. I need/greed everything for GC seals. I might also get a drop that looks good for glam. I only pass on the lowest lvl dungeons if I see a new sprout cuz they will need the gear more than me. Just felt dirty stealing loot they need and they’re not worth much seals anyway.

  9. ….shit. I don't even vendor dungeon gear because it's so cheap, I just drop it.
But I mostly pass on gear, because I hate having to rifle through my armory to find what just dropped. FFXIV's inventory system is shite.
