It’s fine if this game isn’t for you so the people trying to send death threats to this guy…don’t. I love this game, but this game is only meant for people who LOVE digimon, if you don’t love digimon then you will easily get bored of this game. I don’t like graphic novel games but I love this game because it brought something I already love into a darker tone. Unlike Pokémon, digimon is something that grows up with you, you become older so digimon becomes darker.
I think the game is great, it's kinda exactly what I was hoping it'd be and as I went through it I was rushing battles to get back to the story even. And I mean that as a positive. This sort of story and presentation, imo, was almost perfect in execution outside of localization issues. My biggest issue was I accidentally got a really good ending and I thought my decisions didn't affect the story much, and they do lol
Last time a search led me to one of his videos was when he said the Nintendo Switch would flop and now this one here, both times I had a good laugh.
I'm just sad digimon re arise is gone, better then this, I'd like more open world, like digimon world next order, but more evolutions more options, dress up, battles stuff like that

I love your reviews, I think you give your honest opinion and always look for what is good and bad in the game, that's one of the reasons I love your channel, games are not 100% good or 100% bad, and you focus on that, keep the amazing work Wood!!!

The game was great the weakest side of it was technically the Tactical story mainly because of bad Ai and extremely long fights, but the feeling that your choices actually mattered and you actually have to understand a character that's real RPG mechanics right there that's why visual novels are so used with RPG mechanics, not just a cookie cutter turn base fight system there's more to the genre than just that, the way you sometimes complain about Nintendo as a company I am kind of surprised you don't realize that Bandai the company behind Digimon doesn't treat Digimon well.
Do yourselves a favor and skip the first 5 minutes of the video
