I found a shiny Goomy just going to the location without a sandwich 🙂
Using the Cyliczar location for Violet, there's a small rock just up on the hill. I ended up just standing on it and the Cyliczar will despawn and respawn themselves. I was able to spot the shiny and chase after it before it despawned.
The best to hunt Dreepy is same location but during the day with a shiny ghost shiny sandwich you only get it and Evolution to spawn and nothing else
For goomy I suggest going to the wet lands around area 4 I think but I’ve had great luck with it
I just caught a shiny Applin after 11 mins of watching my Miraidon auto battle in its own. Didn’t have to do anything but wait until he stopped fighting and there was my Green apple. (There is a tree that will respawn after every battle on its own)

I tried to get shiny goomy again but got a shiny tatsugiri not even 30 seconds after making the sandwich haha
So far I’ve hunted Bagon, Larvitar, bisharp, and fluttermane within a week and I only reset if I don’t get at least 3 Shinies in one 30min hunt. I have two little sisters so I gotta keep on grinding so they can have some as well.

for violet players hunting axew, the spot slightly north around the ruins near dalizapa passage spawns only axews no bagons. i found a good spot to picnic reset but its hard to describe it here, yall can just bike around and find a good spot for yourselves
I casually found a shiny tatsugiri like yours and wasn't even trying. I was farming materials when my Gallade all of a sudden didn't want to strike it down. Boom, it was the shiny!
