Prankster Thundurus is criminally underrated in this format as a partner for the Galarian Zapdos. Eerie Impulse + Scary face make a devastating combo of stat control against both normal speed control and TR. Both can also be used into your own Zapdos for Defiant boosts. Eerie Impulse helps neuter Special Attackers as well. Then Scary Face is just good for speed control. Either slowing your opponents to let Zapdos out speed and start dealing massive damage, or slowing your Zapdos in TR while also Defiant boosting to start out speeding and dealing massive damage

QOTD: we all know urshifu is gonna the face of spikemuth, but i wanna talk about a sleeper pick: CROBAT. Crobat has an excellent speed tier, decent bulk, an interesting typing in poison/flying, inner focus or infiltrator to fit your needs, and a bevy of good support moves: tailwind, quick guard, haze just to name a few. I think Crobat has a legitimate niche in the meta because he has solid role compression with a vital quad-fighting-resist and its support capabilities
I would love it if you did a video on team building in Spikemuth! Common cores, good pokemon for each role, etc. stuff like that!

Naganadel does really well into Rilla and the Tapus, and it has a great speed tier. Also, Timid Draco w/life orb always OHKO a ton of other fast pokemon including max spe/spa Lando-I.

Ive been really wanting to get into playing vgc, as watching you has gotten me interested. So i have a lot of Pokémon knowledge but dont have the skill to use it. And while i think it would be REALLY funny to say i started in series 13, spikemuth is DEFINITELY the best place to start
