  1. The FSP videos were to me a lot more interesting, it was much more informative and researched, with input from top players of each game, while here especially for the older games it feels like they’re not familiar at all with them…

  2. Pikachu has probably been top tier for so long because he's an archetype that really can't be changed: small, fast, combo character. It's why the characters with the best tier placement throughout all smash history is either Fox or Pikachu. Both are quick characters with combo games. You can nerf the damage, you can nerf kill power, but as long as they are fast and have great frame data (which if you change, you would change the character), you have a high tier.

  3. FUN FACT (source Isai himself): He didn't call Pikachu "Rat" in his videos because he hated the character! He named Pikachu "Rat" to avoid any DMCA issues that could have cropped up from Nintendo!

I know this because I played a friendlies with Isai for about an hour and a bit at GOML 2017 and I was curious about why he named it Rat so I asked him! Super friendly guy 🙂

  4. I don’t get people arguing that pikachu isn’t viable because axe is just really good, I mean he’s just using pikachu’s tools really well, literally anyone with the right amount of practice and work could be as good as axe with pikachu. I mean axe isnt like making pikachu do stuff he can’t normally do
