  1. I'm a Pit main, and it's honestly quite sad how forgotten the Kid Icarus franchise itself is. The majority of my friends who play Smash tell me that I'm "strange" because I main a neglected character; meanwhile they main characters whose franchises are "alive".

I also like playing as Lucina and Kirby from time to time as well. At least they can't name-call me then.

  2. BAH, only reason people play lucina over marth is because FE: Awakening Sure she's more consistent because no tip, but landing a tip is so damn satisfying. The fact they made it do damn clear where his tip is when he strikes make it so easy now!

  3. Corrin is a lot better than people give her credit for. She has some amazing combos, solid frame data, a recovery that can be surprisingly difficult to edgeguard, good edgeguarding, good kill power, and fantastic ledge trapping thanks to pin and other tools.

It's really a shame she isn't used more. She definitely isn't top tier, but I think shes either at the very top of mid tier or at the bottom of high tie.r

  4. I'm still miffed at how badly Olimar/Pikmin has been represented in Smash. The games have a variety of different combat techniques that reward pragmatism and using your forces carefully, but the way he plays in Smash feels like Sakurai watched five minutes of Pikmin 1 footage and designed his moveset around that. He could be so much more of a creative and interesting fighter, but nope! we get this weird zoner-grappler-spacer guy with lazy animations instead. And MAN they really chose just le wholesome garden uwu songs for Smash and ignored everything else, huh?
