i agree so mutch bro… my favorite bug ( the combat bug ) those genius never been able to solve the problem since over 5 years? They did so many set and nerfed 1 month after , my bank is full of crapy gold items now lol… oh and i would honestly pay real money for only one thing …to add bank spaces (the cap is way to low) but even if they add a ton of new gear, they dont even add ant bank places 😉
The crown store is 100% predatory they use tactics like FOMO and high price bundle Monetization (polymorph included in a $100 crown crate bundle)
Shade morph opened up way for the new crown crate polymorph bundle. Wont be surprised if all new crown store items are crown crate based in future. We're already 75% of the way there

theres zero pvp updates and pvp isnt taken seriously, i quit 3 times because of this, its been 2 years since i last played and its a shame.

Thanks for saying out loud what I had intuitively been so frustrated with recently.
I was ranting the past couple weeks about tankiness of about 80% of people I come across in these meta builds. It’s absurd how long it takes to kill someone.
I’ve never been top tier, but I used to be effective in my own way and I had plenty of give and take in PVP. If you’re not running this brick wall bruiser meta now, there’s no place for you. And I just refuse to do that.
A $15 dollar subscription is standard for mmorpg though…
Crown store is just for fashion, it’s not pay to win…still plenty of motifs you can earn in game not to mention the subscription does give you credit for the crown store also…
Still one of the best PvP mmorpg most notably battlegrounds…
I can’t think of a better mmorpg that has as fun PvP as ESO…

FAKE NEWS!!!! pvp community still alive and kickin with full camps erry night – poor lil youtubers just mad cause they think they are important – eso has waaaay more people playin it than when ole hoar started playin and is in a waaay better state- WE WERE ALL NEW PLAYERS AT ONE TIME and I personally have never felt I am "pushed" to buy stuff from the crown store or have I ever been pushed since I started playing this game at release. New subscriber here. You nailed it. Best decision I ever made was leave eso two years ago. Just so much repetition with a different skin. Crown store is joke. Eso was my first mmo and I was really addicted. Leaving it lifted a massive weight off my shoulders. You going to play pax dei? Looks pretty amazing.

Finally an ESO YouTuber that calls out the pay to win stuff. A lot of folks in the ESO community refuse to admit that there’s any pay to win and then get hostile. Never understood the hostility some of the community, like Arttea has for any criticism against the game.
Come over to Diablo 4 Bro!!!! I have played ESO since launch, I finally cancelled eso + started playing other games and feel like I’m having fun again with games. I know yourself like me has invested years in ESO but at the end of the day the game has not really changed as far as improvements that’s been promised for years. I’ll continue to watch your content no matter what you stream!

Pvp is only fun now if you know every other good player and group with them.
After zos started changing cp adding new meta gear, all the used to 1vx'ers
just stared grouping up with one another, they became the zergers of today.
Because they know that solo play is over for the most part, bad players are hard to find.
Moreover, if you do see good players, they always run to a keep and play run around for 20 minuets. That is not fun.
NAILED it, I only pay for craft bag so it doesn’t eat up my inventory, they pretty much forced this on players, you know how you know your RIGHT! The most used acronym used in ESO is WTB, that’s right WTB WANTING TO BUY!

I quit playing after update 35. I miss it, but I know the only way to speak to the devs is with money. I’m not touching it again unless they either get rid of crown crates.
So I’m never going to be playing again 🥲 hate it.
This video is everything i have been explaining in pieces to the old homies as to why i wont come back to ESO . From the "you NEED that craft bag to take the game any kind of serious" to the "Build Diversity: 300 sets in the game and only 10 are ever relevant" its all too true. And one of the biggest points IMO , keeping PvP and PvE separate, so when something over performs in PvE land , and gets nerfed, it doesnt effect PvP and Vice Versa. This is a HUGE deal to me, and very few games get this. even fewer get it right. I have held strong in my boycott of ESO for 9 months now, had a recent itch for the PvP , but this brought me back to why i quit to begin with. Anyways , Ty @Hoarcrux , and ty for all the content in the past, i look forward to more on other games in the future man.

To be fair i quit the game and moved to BDO the moment ESO decide to cater to the brai*** noobs that doesn't want to put any effort learning game mechanics, and want to one shot everything, and they literally change the combat to braindead state.
They literally removed the one thing that i liked so much about ESO and that combat was very much skill based and also super fun to me, as i'm high APM player.
Removing skill ceiling from the game was the worst thing and beginning of the end. Nerfing the Hardcore playerbase, the backbone of any game was the stupidest decision ever.
And did the constantly crying casuals come to play the braindead combat they turned the game into ???? Absolutely not. They just chased away their hardcore players, and few casuals who likes to one shot everything comes, but they will leave soon after, as it's what most casuals do.
This was my turning away point from ESO, and that was the main reason. To be fair i loved almost everything, but s** on a gameplay, and trying to constantly change core gameplay mechanics on an almost 10 years old game is plain stupid and will make a lot of players mad.
Question. Would you play eso if there was some new blood in development? For example, a ambitious dev that wants to restore the game to its former glory? Cuz' I think it's just a matter of time before something happens. Somethings got to give, and the state of eso might have to get worse before it gets better. I won't abandon eso, but even I have to wonder how much money Zos has to lose before someone is fired and replaced.
hey bro I watched this vid on Nefas. I completely agree with you about macros you are 100 percent correct you can make a macro for this game on just a Cronus in abought 15 mins. there are guides all over youtube, I'm not endorsing that fact. I'm a cod player mostly I've been dealing with cheaters for years. It took me 5 seconds of watching a parse vid and i was like i could scrip that 2 scrips 1 for over 25 percent health 1 for under. Anyways that guy acted like he never heard of that. they have been doing it in wow for 15 years. I laughed when he said that.

Have been following you for years. Appreciate all your builds and your total honesty right now. I also have invested 9 years as a player only, not a content creator. It is soul destroying to see where it has led and you will be hugely missed and will look forward to where your future leads. One door closes and another opens. I really cannot agree with you that nerfs are the result of PVE. Mara's Balm, Templar jabs, Oakensoul were all clearly nerf'd due to pvp– hell Oakensoul is still OP in PVE with 8 oakensoul dps trials still a thing. The best evidence tho is happening right now. We had Whitestrake last month (to create a baseline) and now have it a second event in a row, so they know how to "balance" the new class.
Though overall I do agree that PVP has been neglected for years, and the GH servers are unplayable (for me)
ESO is the biggest cash grab on the market? Guess you haven't played Destiny 2..
i feel like ppl give too much credit to cash shops. all ive bought are the conjuration weapon skins and the vampire noble skin. after that i require nothing from the cash shop. anything in game related takes 30 secs to find out how to obtain in game. if people dont even have the time to google information they probably shouldnt be playing a game like this. its far from a ded game. 20k online players at any given time by steams numbers. i main swtor and theyre lucky to have 5k players online at any time and i can still have short pvp and raid queues
I came from DAoC, RvR was my life for a long time. I was sad when the game pretty much died thanks to WoW, but at least WoW had some pvp and it was decent. When ESO came out and I saw who was designing it I thought my passion was back and to be fair it was for a little while. The whole system is clearly based on DAoC RvR, but they just let it wither and die. I am not sure why they did us pvp'ers so dirty, but it really pisses me off the potential that is waisted here.
Anyway, I agree with you. Yesterday I turned off ESO+ after finishing Necrom and I am pretty much done with the game. That was my last expansion, I am going to be focusing on WoW, D4 and GW2 now. F ZOS for what they have (and have not) done.
The worst problem with ESO for me right now are the bloody crashes since Necrom was released. I've stopped playing 2 weeks and won't come back until they have a fix. They are aware of the problem but don't know how to fix it. Most of my friends have the same problem and most of them have left as well.

Yea, no wonder, they can’t even make a mode similar to GW2 where it’s way more fair to new players. They get steamrolled with 1-3 hits and don’t come back because there are so many better options nowadays.
