I think Death Wing is classified as a gunpowder archer unit by AoE2 since only Condottiero and anti-archer units seemed to deal their bonus damage against it. So if it was ever in any scenario you would need Italians as an ally to beat it. Or spam like 500 Chu Ko Nus. Or enough Nadziaks (Polish un. unit) to remove armor + some heavy hitting units in huge quantities.
So Death Wing is monster that does melee AOE damage with archer and gunpowder armor type, got it 😂
Sorry also forgot it is a unique unit too lol

Hello, I like your videos. I give you a suggestion for a new series: ranged units vs melee units using "hit and run". Example: Crossbowmen vs Long Swordsman
So this is what fighting Glaurung in Tolkien-lore must've been like. Scary.
Also, now I want a video of Death Wing vs Every Generic Unit, just to see how well do Siege Onagers and Bombard Cannons fare against him.
I think Samurai, Leitis and Obuch did the most damage.
Other ideas:
– Deathwing vs [ALL] of these units but coming in waves, (Deathwing's HP not being restored with each singular battle).
– Deathwing against groups/ALL heroes.
