  1. The EGG Pokemon on the opposing side was a really cool touch, very creative! [thumbs-up]

I did not expect it to have egg-themed moves….I was really surprised at that battle strategy of the EGG Pokemon (Belly Drum then Explosion! Softboiled for recovery, Egg Bomb for 2nd attack.).

That was awesome to watch and was a really intense (not to mention fun & interesting) battle!

How far can these Gameshark modifications go?
Can you make the name of the trainer be a blank space instead of a true name?
Can you change the battle music for the fight or the encounter before the actual fight?

I saw a glitch trainer with a really stable Pokemon list and interesting moveset that was really tough to beat (not to mention confusing) on another video. Would it be possible to duplicate that trainer if I can provide you a link to their team setup?

  2. I have had a glitch in Pokémon Silver when I was young (internal battery died, no way of recovering this save file 😢)
So you might be my best best in asking about this.
I have a pokémon Red, Crystal, and Silver, a friend with pokémon Gold and Crystal and another friend with pokémon Crystal.
None of us have every seen Celebi or captured it and none of us knew about GameShark back then or used it. I have used the Missingno. glitch in Pokémon Red and traded between me and my two friends.
However, in the Trainer house the trainer I had to face at a certain point was a trainer with a Celebi.
    To give you the details:
Name: M. HERO (so he was called "mister M. HERO" before the battle starts and he had his stock sprite as seen in this video)
    Team:
    lvl 100 Charizard
    lvl 13 Smoochum
lvl 19 Elekid (or lvl 17 maybe?)
    lvl 27 Magby
    lvl 100 Blastoise
    lvl 100 Celebi

Due to this trainer house Trainer and the Mew Glitch from Red, as well as my two friends games, I got to 251 pokemon seen and 250 pokémon caught at the end of my internal battery's life, with something like 660 hours played in the game.

My question is: How did I manage to do this? I have no idea how this happened and to this day I'm wondering how I got this trainer house trainer to have a Celebi.
One of the weird quirks is that I did beat the elite four a lot, say over 300 times throughout the game in order to level multiple pokémon to lvl 100. But that should have nothing to do with this.

  3. I hope you'll read this, you might be my only hope I have getting this to work.
I had been trying to edit my save file as to have my other game's team as an opponent and my emulator doesn't support IR. I found the supposed hex offsets for the Trainer House trainer over at Project Pokemon, however I haven't had any success getting it to work. (I used the international offsets, but maybe me using German Crystal is the issue here.) I also set the Mystery Gift flags so the game thinks I already connected to another trainer but it just doesn't work.
Maybe you have an idea on how to do this or can link me to a thorough save file data structure sheet.

Best regards and thank you in advance!

PS: Thank you for your service in cataloguing all these glitches, quirks and bugs!
